Gloves

A beautiful pair of gloves hand knitted in finest quality pure alpaca wool which are exceptionally warm and soft. These pretty gloves feature a beautiful cable pattern which runs right to the end of the fingers.

Alpaca is four times warmer than lambswool and it doesn't pill (bobble).

You won't need to wash them too often as the properties of the natural fibre repel dirt and moisture. When you do wash them, hand wash in warmish (about 30 degrees) water with woollens detergent and they wash very easily. Do not tumble dry, just lie flat to dry.

These will quickly become your favourite gloves to pull on when it's chilly outside! Treat yourself to a touch of luxury for the cold winter months.

Our gloves are all washed and pressed so they will reach you in perfect condition.

Mamacha produces luxury alpaca knitwear for men and women designed in England and lovingly hand made by expert knitters in Peru. In 2008 we began working with a women's co-operative on the outskirts of Lima with the aim of providing employment for struggling families. We discovered some fantastic knitters with incredible skills, who needed a little help designing and marketing knitwear, and that is how our story began. All of our 100% alpaca products are made using top quality, truly luxurious alpaca fibre which we source from the highly regarded Peruvian manufacturer 'Michell'. It is known for its softness, superior warmth, lightweightedness and durability - it will last much longer than synthetic fibres.
