These practical gloves feature a beautiful cable pattern and are perfect for keeping warm whilst using your phone or even tapping away at your laptop in a cold studio. Alpaca is four times warmer than lambswool and it doesn't pill (bobble).

Do the ends of your fingers get cold? Well, actually with the rest of your hand and wrist lovely and warm, your fingers will actually stay much warmer too.

If you work outside but need your fingers free, these gloves are ideal.

You won't need to wash them too often as the properties of the natural fibre repel dirt and moisture. When you do wash them, hand wash in warmish (about 30 degrees) water with delicate detergent or shampoo and they will wash brilliantly and stay like new. Do not tumble dry, just lie flat to dry.

Mamacha produces luxury alpaca knitwear for men and women designed in England and lovingly hand made by expert knitters in Peru. In 2008 we began working with a women's co-operative on the outskirts of Lima with the aim of providing employment for struggling families. We discovered some fantastic knitters with incredible skills, who needed a little help designing and marketing knitwear, and that is how our story began. All of our 100% alpaca products are made using top quality, truly luxurious alpaca fibre which we source from the highly regarded Peruvian manufacturer 'Michell'. It is known for its softness, superior warmth, lightweightedness and durability - it will last much longer than synthetic fibres.
