My daughter bought me a pair of your lovely leg warmers for Xmas - I have only taken them off to go to bed! They are sooooooo warm and soft and don’t itch!
I suffer with cold feet (and hands) but these leg warmers have kept my feet super cosy, even when barefoot, so I just wanted to say thank you for making them 😊 I love them 🧡

The Mamacha waistcoat in Blue Marl is my first experience with alpaca - I chose it as a change to cashmere - and am so glad I did. The wool is wonderfully light , warm and slightly "springy". The understated colour & classic cut makes just as much at home under a tweed jacket in the office as with chinos on the weekend. Before ordering I spoke to Amy and was delighted to learn more about the ethical production and high standards of animal welfare . Highly recommeded.

I ordered the red slippers and love, love, love them. The simple shape and fit is just what I need to keep off the wintry chill without feeling too clumpy. I can even wear them to bed if necessary. Thank you so much for the navy blue cable hat my nan gave me for Christmas. She told me how helpful and kind you were and emailed her when one came in. It matches my wrist warmers and scarf also from Mamacha.

I think this is a brilliant clothing brand and the whole idea of the company is amazing and there should be more organisations designed to help promote the skills of these small communities. The products are better than any chain store and it feels more wholesome and loved.

Hola Mama! Many thanks for the Alpaca headband - a beautiful piece of craftwomanship - warm, not too heavy, a lovely colour. Every bit as nice as the fingerless gloves I purchased 2 or 3 years ago (still in ex. condition)
It's a treat these days to receive something that arrives as advertised on a website instead of in a different colour, or the wrong item completely, or of shabby quality.
These Peruvian artisans evidently take as great a pride in their craft, as you do in your business. Perhaps I'll treat myself to a poncho next...

My plain black poncho arrived this morning. I wanted a symmetrical, plain warm poncho to wear inside and out in a lovely yarn that was reasonable priced and have been hunting for a long time for this 'Holy Grail' item. I put it on and feel like a million dollars.

It's wonderful - amazing quality and so comfortable. It's rich black and that it won't bobble is a huge bonus.

I like the products and the values that Mamacha offers. Peruvian styles are lovely in Peru but hard to wear in the west. Mamacha's things are very wearable and compare with upmarket labels like Brora... but buying them benefits Peruvian women and they are better value.

I hope during the impending Western capitalist orgy that is Christmas to buy some of my presents on here and it won't be hard to find lovely things that my friends and family will be thrilled with and wouldn't find in the shops.

I couldn't be more impressed; Thank you Mamacha.

I have just received my headband and am delighted with it. I get a lot of earache, even when it's not particularly cold so this is the perfect solution for me. I love alpaca wool and it's good to be able to support a good cause. Could we please have a shawl-collar cardigan?

Love my hat and "vintage mittens". I am waiting for more colours in those mittens. I don't like gloves as much, so to find mittens in alpaca wool was great. Very pleased I found this website, as unfortunately Mamacha does not come to my neck of the woods. Also pleased to support the ladies in Peru, having been to that wonderful country.

I was devastated when my crocheted hat (a Christmas gift) mysteriously disappeared from the gym changing room on a bitterly cold day. Cross though I was, I do understand why it was so desirable: the softness and warmth of it almost make me wishing for the wintry weather and a reason to wear it. I'm delighted to now have its replacement and will be taking great care not to lose this one. Thanks to Amy for getting it to me so quickly and every good wish for the continuing support of Mamacha for the workers of Peru!
